Basics of research and development
OBREiUP operates since 1975 in the field of pneumatic drives and control. From the first years of operation OBREiUP has become leading national body responsible for development of pneumatics. The primary task of the unit was to implement the license for basic pneumatic elements manufactured by French company CPOAC and using acquired knowledge and experience in following years to develop own new products.
OBREiUP Profile
On the basis of documentation prepared at the Centre the production of standard pneumatic components was developed in Poland. OBREiUP meanwhile steered its’ activities primarily to R&D and implementation of new provided solutions. The current profile of the company activities includes mainly custom pneumatic components and equipment, installations and systems in which compressed air is the medium carrying energy or, in special cases, other gas with similar properties.
Regardless of new tasks being performed, OBREiUP activities include production of typical pneumatic components, which are offered in following catalog.
The company also specializes in development and testing of new designed pneumatic products. The foundation of this activity is extensive knowledge gained in the field of wide possibilities in pneumatics, observation of the market and needs indicated by national users, and above all many years of experience and facilities available for research and implementation.
The directions of work
Initiated R&D tasks carried out successively in OBREiUP include:
- new designs of pneumatic elements, not yet present on Polish market;
- pneumatic components and assemblies in custom versions (size, operating movement, materials, etc.);
- special products adapted to the unusual operations and user needs;
- products in individual realization, intended for use in a specific application for a single user.
- special equipment and systems, adapted to unusual features and user needs;
Selected implemented projects of special equipment and systems:
1) pneumatic system for linear motion of frequency simulators for equipment testing in a military training center (WITU - Zielonka)
2) pneumatic locomotive brake system (CEIA Mining - Katowice)
3) pneumatic drive units for disconnectors of overhead power networks of high and medium voltage (EUPT Włoszczowa)
4) valve blocks for control of the braking systems in mining hoist machines (OPA ROW Sp. Rybnik)
5) control system for spot welding of car bodies (TEMA Poland SA)
6) pneumatic positioning control system for measuring moisture content of molding sands (Institute of Engineering and Automation Technical University of Wroclaw)
ON THE FURTHER PAGES INFORMATION WILL BE GIVEN ABOUT WORK IN PROGRESS AND COMPLETION OF NEW TASKS (in preparation).
